Joanna "Jo" Navarrete, LMT
Joanna graduated from the National Massage Therapy Institute in July of 2014 and has been practicing massage in therapeutic settings ever since. She worked in a wellness center alongside chiropractors, physical therapists, acupuncturists, nutritionists, and psychotherapists. This laid the foundation for her to approach massage clinically to better form part in a client's pain management and overall physical and mental health. During her time as a therapist Joanna has learned various massage modalities such as:
•Neuromuscular/Trigger Point Therapy
•Myofascial Release
•Deep Tissue/ Sports Massage
•Lymphatic Drainage and Medical Massage in Post Surgical Rehab
‣Gua-sha and muscle scraping
‣Post Liposuction Massage
‣MLD as it relates to edema, lymphedema and autoimmune diseases and disorders.
•Pre and Post Natal Massage
•TMJ/TMD Massage
•Migraine Massage
•Acute & Chronic pain management
‣Cryotherapy
‣Heat therapy
‣Cupping
‣Sport Taping
This along with her knowledge in pathologies allows her to discern which modalities will provide a safe and personalized treatment plan for each client.

"At Reficio we believe massage is not a luxury, but an essential part of physical and mental wellness. We strive to provide quality massage therapy backed by knowledge in anatomy, kinesiology and pathologies. This ensures every client has a personalized and safe experience."
Mission Statement
At Reficio we strive to make massage therapy an integral part of healthcare and wellness. We stay up to date with research in our field and all fields related to health & wellness and pain & stress management. In addition to the initial intake and medical history, we perform a verbal intake and pain assessment each session. We use this information to discern which modalities will provide the safest and best results. Each body is unique and reacts differently to varying pressures and therapies.
Massage Therapy should not be one size fits all. Our goal is for each session to be perceptive, adaptive and sanative.
